A1; mounted and wrapped; Board 1; Hand-made Beech charcoal; started from broad horizontal line; then turned clockwise and further broad line both with diagonal shding strokes to create broad bands; board turned clockwise each band and added to above and below; various charcoal pieces produced different qualities of band; towards the end certain bands apparent; finished with compressed charcoal random cover to go for ‘even’ cover. No wiping. Fixed.
